Domaine Joseph Voillot Les Champans Volnay 1er Cru 2023

This is a rather opening and welcoming Volnay with scents of turned earth, fertilizer, blackberry bush and vague toast nuances. The palate has good tension with crunchy, firm tannins and rather punchy acidity. It is lighter and more gastronomic. Give this a few years to fully come around. Score – 93.
