Domaine Melody Etoile-Noire Crozes-Hermitage 2023

A smaller production release with more depth and density, the 2023 Crozes-Hermitage Etoile Noire reveals spicy red and black fruits, chocolate, roasted herbs, and meaty, spicy nuances on the nose. It’s medium to full-bodied with plenty of mid-palate depth, ripe tannins, and a great finish. It’s beautifully done and, as with most 2023s, has the fruit and texture to shine today yet should evolve nicely over the coming decade or so. Drink date: 2026-2036. (jebdunnuck.com,Feb. 26, 2026)
