Domaine Queylus La Grande Réserve Pinot Noir 2019

An elegantly poised Pinot by Kelly Mason, a winemaker whose brilliance has led to a cult-following of those in the know. Seductive floral aromas overtake the introduction, followed by red plums and violets. The palate is light-bodied, ethereal even, but built with freshness, and is lively and complex. Cranberry, nutmeg and a touch of iron add layers atop of powdery, fine tannins that culminate on a long, impactful finish. Score – 95. (leahspooner-wine.com, Feb. 2025)
