Domaine Reveirolles Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2020

Taking a big step up in quality this year, Reveirolles’s 2020 Chateauneuf du Pape boasts intense garrigue notes – it’s almost obnoxi ously floral and herbal – on the nose, plus plenty of stewed red berries. A blend of 85% Grenache, 10% Mourvèdre and 5% Syrah, aged in a mix of foudres, demi-muids and tank, it’s full-bodied, soft, supple and gently tannic, ending long and silky. Drink date: 2022-2035.
