Donnachiara Irpinia Aglianico 2022

Aromas of wild blackberry, rosemary, clove, cardamom and plum. Full-bodied with tight tannins. Linear. A bed of black and ripe red f ruit washes over the palate, together with lovely ground spice. A lifted note of citrus peel comes through, but is swallowed by another note of charcoal. Savory and delicious. Best after 2025 [through to end of 2020s]. (jamessuckling.com,Sept. 6, 2022)
