This wine is made according to the ancient Tuscan tradition of governo alla toscana, whereby partially dried grapes are added into the winemaking after first fermentation. The result is a rich, full wine overflowing with ripe blackberry, dark cherry and spice. Perfect for rosticciana (Tuscan-style ribs with garlic and rosemary). Luca Maroni awarded this wine 98 points.
