Duckhorn Three Palms Vineyard Merlot 2020

This 98% Merlot and 2% Malbec was aged for 18 months in 75% new French oak barrels. Though 2020 in California was marred by wildfires, Duckhorn was not deterred and ensured that the 2020 vintage was up to their strict quality standards. A smaller, concentrated crop that ripened slowly due to milder weather translates into an alluring wine with fleshy tannins wrapped in decadent aromas of huckleberry, rose petals, Napa leather, dark chocolate, and graham crackers. This will age beautifully for the next 10+ years.
