E Guigal Cote Rotie La Mouline 2021

A fine-tuned, precise and layered La Mouline with aromas of red berries, warm herbs, dried spices and leather. A hint of fire pit, too. It’s medium-bodied with ultra fine tannins. Pleasant harmony here, with a polished structure that drives the fruit and a lift of sweet spices and raw cocoa in the long finish. Drink or hold. Score – 97. (jamessuckling.com, April 14, 2025)
