Ernie Els Proprietor’s Blend 2021

Cabernet Sauvignon is the star performer here, attended by a supporting cast of 20% Syrah and smaller amounts of Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Fresh, balanced and less powerful than previous releases, it’s another wine that reflects the 2021 growing season, with cassis, redcurrant and bramble flavours and a spicy undertone.
