Evel Tinto 2019

What a great bargain for [under] $16. It has all the gravitas and weight of a Douro red, with classic ripe blackberry/plummy, almost fig fruit nicely stitched with oak, spice, toast and dried herbs. Even a sense of minerality on the finish. It is full bodied, fairly dense and tannic yet well proportioned. The length is very good. Tasted October 2023. Score – 89. (David Lawrason, winealign.com)
