Largely dark red robe. The nose gives a toasted, rib of beef air, with a centre of black berry fruit. It’s just on the cusp between youth and a second stage. The palate is peppery, fluid, holds a fair weight of cooked red stone fruits. It doesn’t ignite the palate, and ends in compressed form, a little depth of juice there. Decanting good. 13.5°.
