Fontanafredda La Rosa Barolo 1998

Pretty blackberry and cherry aromas with hints of minerals. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a long, rich finish. Well-crafted. The first of new Barolos from this large producer. Best after 2004. Score – 91. (winespectator.com, Nov. 30, 2002)
