From 18 different areas within the Comune, the medium red 2020 Barolo Del Comune Di Serralunga D’Alba offers spicy notes of fresh cherries, raspberries, rosemary, incense, and orange peel. Medium-bodied and elegant, it’s approachable now, with ripe tannins and very harmonious, savory notes of pure tea leaf on the finish. Very well-styled, it has a good sense of the village it hails from as well as the finesse this vintage offers. Drink it over the next 10-12 years. Maturity: 2024-2036. Score – 92.
