Freemark Abbey Spring Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

The Spring Mountain District in Napa Valley is home to some of the highest-elevation plantings in the region. Freemark Abbey’s Wurtele Vineyard, from which fruit for this wine was sourced, sits at an elevation between 600 and 1,000 feet, making this wine notably more elegant and refined and less fruit-forward. After extensive ageing in new oak barrels, this wine is well-balanced and exudes confidence, producing a powerful nose with aromas of dark cherry, mocha, sandalwood, and exotic spices.
