Lots of Christmas spice, sandalwood, and flowery incense, as well as a solid kiss of bacon fat, emerge from the 2019 Côte Rôtie Laurus, a medium-bodied, rounded, seamless 2019 with loads of ripe red and black fruit as well as silky tannins. It’s another 2019 that’s already hard to resist yet will keep for 10-12 year or more. Maturity: 2022-2034. Score – 92-94. (jebdunnuck.com, Feb. 16, 2022)
