Gaja Dagromis Barolo 2019

Sourced from high-elevation plantings in Serralunga and La Morra, Dagromis is a true reflection of the excellent 2019 harvest: austere, firm, and built for the long haul. A moderately rainy season coupled with abundant warmth and no hail in sight led to triumphant Barolos such as this one, which shows hints of sour cherry and plucked violets swaddled in saddle leather and black licorice tones. Decant for an hour if planning on serving soon, or cellar for the next two decades.
