Haute Vallée de l’Aude has a climate and soils that bear some similarity to those of Burgundy, and the vineyards are planted at some of the highest altitudes in the Languedoc. In concert with the moderating impact of ocean breezes, these factors permit the area to produce fresh, silky Pinot Noir such as this one, with its striking depth and complex raspberry, redcurrant and spice.
