Giacomo Borgogno & Figli Barolo Cannubi 2012

A beam of pure cherry acts as a beacon in this complex, elegant red. Flavors of floral, wild herbs, tar and tobacco play supporting roles. Firm and even a tad dry in the end, but this is headed in a good direction in terms of freshness and fruit. Best from 2021 through 2040. Score – 95. (Bruce Sanderson, winespectator.com, 2019)
