Gianni Gagliardo Fossati Barolo 2020

This is fantastic with excellent structure. Firm and classic, yet slightly compressed tannins that give it so much. Red fruits, raspberries and strawberries. Nutmeg and hazelnut, too. Full and exciting. So much going on and excellent depth. Succulent. A vineyard area to watch. Best after 2029. Score – 97. (jamessuckling.com, Jan. 12, 2024)
