Goretti Sagrantino di Montefalco

Another very ripe and bold Montefalco with dried-meat, tar and mocha character. There’s some polish to the drying tannins, however, and the earthy elements are surprisingly appealing. Drink from 2024. Score – 91. (jamessuckling.com, Nov. 7, 2019)
