Gurjaani Old Marani Kindzmarauli Red 2022

This supple, off-dry red has a pretty if not intense nose of blueberry/cherry compote with violet and oak spice/toast . It is quite tender and fresh despite the sweetness. Alcohol is modest at 12% creating that sense of tenderness. Tannins are chalky and ripe; the length is very good. The finish is a bit pasty. Chill lightly. Tasted April 2025.
