Lots of red and black currants, dried tobacco, cedary herbs, and graphite notes emerge from the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Heir Apparent. With medium to full-bodied richness, a round, supple, elegant texture, and beautiful balance, it’s another charming, certainly outstanding wine from this team with lots to love. It’s drinking nicely today, and I see no need to delay gratification. Nevertheless, it’s going to evolve for 10-12 years. Maturity: 2021-2033. Score – 91. (jebdunnuck.com, Jan. 27, 2021)
