Napa’s 2022 vintage was a challenging one that produced a ‘lighter style’ of Cabernet than is typical for the region. But given the inherent power of Napa Cab, that’s a truly relative descriptor. For the Allomi Cabernet, the heat led to small, tight berries packed with flavour; layered, complex notes of cassis, blackberry, tobacco and spice; and great balance and structure.
