Product Details
From one of the biggest names in Burgundy, this wine comes from vines aged 45 years in Les Cherbaudes: a small two-hectare plot within Gevrey-Chambertin classified as premier cru. It spent 16 months on the lees with no racking, maturing in French oak barrels of which half were new. Expressive and intense with notions of red berries, plums and subtly spicy notes, the wine is beautifully balanced, powerful and long with impeccable tannin structure.
