Cask sample. A nose that seems to drift past like an autumn leaf on a winter wind. On the palate, slightly tart, slightly sour, transparent. As if it doesn’t want to be there, it doesn’t want to stay. Aloof, not much in the way of fruit, although at the end the tannins tuck in with tangible emphasis on the long finish, giving the wine a long, grippy finish. When to drink: 2026-2030.
