This Cabernet comes from a warm area that’s protected from Russian River’s famed cool ocean fogs by a line of hills. The wine is earthy and concentrated, with rich blackberry notes atop savoury herbs, coffee, spice and toast. It will be wonderful with a hearty winter stew or smoked beef ribs.
