Product Details
An elegant, refined and lovely wine. Brimming with all the good regional cabernet flavours of mulberries and cassis, spiced boysenberries, a dusting of cocoa and just the right amount of leafy/herbal freshness. Sure, there’s cedary oak in the mix (the wine’s aged 14 months in French barriques, 30% new), but the fruit has sucked it up. Fuller bodied, the tannins are textural, almost grainy and ripe, and the finish lingers. Impressive. Drink from: 2024. Drink by: 2036. Special Value. Score – 95.
