Konzelmann Barrel Aged Reserve Series Cabernet/Merlot 2022

Herbal and balmy blend of 46 percent cabernet sauvignon with merlot and cabernet franc, yet cool and even a touch salty. Curious locution and one to follow for its elasticity and temperature. Tannic profile is measured, grippy, in control, yet on the metre. Might very well be a wine that lives a very long time. Drink date: 2025-2029. Tasted blind at NWACS 24, June 2024. Score – 90.
