Delivering extraordinary value for money, this carmenere is from the flatter parts of the vineyard in Los Lingues, near the Andean foothills in the Colchagua Valley. It displays herbal notes, juicy red fruit, tense body moderated by fine tannins, and abundant fruit flavors. The wine spent 14 months in barrels, all used, which added spices, but hasn’t reduced any of its freshness. Score – 91. (Patricio Tapia, guiadescorchados.cl, 2024)
