La Durbane Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2020

This feels fresh, with notes of kirsch, raspberry and crushed herbs. It has weight and fine, fur coat-like tannins, and a lovely seam of precise acidity. It’s long and gently mentholated, with a warming finish. A Châteauneuf of great finesse – well balanced and extremely stylish. Made with 100% destemmed fruit. Drinking window: 2025-2037. Score – 95.
