Lafage Narassa 2021

A rich and concentrated wine with aromas of poached plums, cooked cherries, spice box, black olives, Mediterranean herbs and roasted meats. Full-bodied with meaty layers and firm but velvety tannins. Intense. Some lingering roasted espresso notes. Grenache from 85 year old bush vines with some syrah. Drink or hold [through 2026]. Score – 91. (jamessuckling.com, Dec. 11, 2022)
