Laurent Ponsot En Ergot Cuvée du Meleze Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru 2020

An appealingly spicy if distinctly earthy nose is comprised by notes of both red and dark wild berries and a whiff of the sauvage. The succulent, round and generous medium weight flavors possess good power that suffuses the austere and lingering finish where the only nit is a touch of warmth.
