Whiffs of tar and smoked-hazelnut skins meld with crushed black pepper and brandy-soaked cherries on the palate of this opulent Pinot Noir. The juicy, freshly concentrated blackberry and plum flavors are appealing young but hints of bramble and sun-scorched herbs lend a pleasantly earthen complexity too. At peak now-2027. Score – 90.
