Maison Roche de Bellene Vieilles Vignes Nuits-Saint-Georges 2016

A dark and spicy NSG, with ample spiced red and black cherry fruit, opening now into a gently oxidative spectrum. It shows fine depth and power, and lots of substance and extract on the palate, and very good length. This is solid wine, which should drink well until the end of the decade. Tasted November 2019.
