Picked on the final day of harvest, 2nd September, and 100% destemmed, a question of vat size. Two new barrels in nine, assembled in tank. Fine mid purple, slightly toasty nose, a little barrel reduction. This is very balanced with a burst of sweet cherry fruit at the back alongside the grainy tannins of Pommard. Fine length, really very good. Score – 90-92. (Jasper Morris, MW, insideburgundy.com, Nov. 2021)
