Marchand-Tawse Vignes de la Famille Tawse Clos du Roi Beaune 1er Cru 2022

10% whole bunch vinification, 30% new wood, now in tank. A darker purple colour, with a little reduction. Plenty of concentration dark red berry fruit, a very good acid balance, and excellent persistence. An extremely good Clos du Roi. Drink from 2030-2036. Tasted Dec 2023. Score – 90-93.
