The 2019 Gran Reserva is long-aged, about three years in French and American oak with another year in bottle. The herbal aromatics lead to an elegant, rounded midpalate of medium-bodied richness and grip, highlighted by notes of dark chocolate, licorice, balsamic, and cinnamon. The wine is structured and still grippy but starting to coalesce into its beautiful self. The tremendous length of the wine should continue to develop, and it will drink best from 2029-2039. Score – 96. (Virginie Boone, jebdunnuck.com, Nov. 16, 2025)
