Terasses De Baalbeck 2022

Dense and dark, with aromas of tar, leather, elderberries and sloe fruit. Full-bodied with a compact tannic core. Very long, emphatically dry finish that’s smoky and tarry. A cuvee of 40% grenache plus 30% each of syrah and mourvedre. Drink or hold [into early 2030s+]. Score – 93. (Stuart Pigott, jamessuckling.com, April 10, 2025)
