Masseria Suranì Primitivo di Manduria 2021

On the nose, aromas of chili pepper, raspberry and pomegranate sparkle above a backbone of damp earth, underbrush and pencil shavings. The palate adds wild strawberries and a smear of blood orange jam to notes of raspberry and sweet and spicy chili, while acid bounces around approachable tannins. Score – 90.
