Miguel Torres Cordillera Vigno Carignan 2018

Made by Fernando Almeda but blended by his successor Eduardo Jordán, the Torres Carignan uses grapes from Huerta de Maule, close to Melozal. Sappy, stony and granitic, with toasty 7% new oak, a hint of reduction and dark plum and cranberry fruit flavours. Drink date: 2023-2027. Score – 92. (timatkin.com, Chile Special Report 2022)
