This is a young wine that needs a little more time to discover its mature character. A blend of alicante bouschet, touriga nacional, and trincadeira, it shows a flavour profile heavily weighted toward dark fruit and with very good complexity and breadth. The fruit-acid balance is excellent, and the tannins are drying without being too intrusive. Given time for the components to integrate, this will be a very attractive wine. Score – 93.
