Montes Alpha Special Cuvée Pinot Noir 2022

An excellent pinot noir from Zapallar that delivers personality and nuances. Spiced orange rind, iron, mossy red berries and a touch of minerals. Pretty structured and long but very fine-grained, with fresh, dusty tannins. Delicious now, but will hold well. [Drink till 2027.] Score – 94. (Zekun Shuai, jamessuckling.com, Feb. 12, 2024)
