Blackcurrant leaf, black cherry and crushed stones. Juicy, bright and alive, this is zippy and racy on the palate, fresh and fun with the crushed stone, liquorice and minerality driven by high acidity. Mouthwatering, salivating and playful in style, that’s not to say it’s not serious – once the fruit settles, the deeper liquorice side enters and expands on the finish. Such a persistent ending with mint and the crushed stone flavour lingering. Lifted and aerial, but still with the nuances that remind you it’s a characterful and nicely crafted wine. Drinking Window: 2024-2034. Score – 89. (Georgina Hindle, decanter.com)
