I posted the eternal question about 2004 versus 2005 when tasting the 2004 Prado Enea. Instead of answering the question, they reached for a bottle of the 2005 Prado Enea Gran Reserva to check what is happening. The nose is almost as young and undeveloped as the 2004, but it’s on the palate where I see that the 2005 shows a little more polish and is perhaps a little less complete than the 2004. In any case, it might be a matter of personal taste, because both years are exceptional. Here, the oak seems more evident. So, today I preferred the 2004. Drink date: 2019-2030. Score – 95.
