Negretti Barolo Riserva 2016

The Negretti 2016 Barolo Riserva is a rich expression with deep layering and a generous, medium-to-full-bodied approach. The vines are 75 years old and have forged deep roots in their one-hectare plot with calcareous marl soils. There is a clear mineral signature on the bouquet that is followed by wild rose, cassis and delicate spice. This Riserva undergoes an extended maceration on the skins for about 30 days, and you get more fruity density and volume as a result. Drink date: 2024-2040. Score – 95.
