Clay and limestone soils in Burgundy give this Pinot Noir real definition, and Nuiton Beaunoy has farmed the vines here for two deca des. Red cherry and redcurrant carry a delicate, smoky depth. Fine tannin gives it a silky, structured feel without any weight. Toasted hazelnut lingers by the close. Veal chops or sauteed pork tenderloin would be a wonderful match.
