Complementary oak (8% new) on 2018 frames the ripe blue fruit without dominating. Layered, nuanced mouthful, with good concentration & distinct Rhône styling. Broad, engaging, with inky depth, it’s both leashed & powerful. Score – 94. (Platter’s South African Wine Guide, 2023)
