Product Details
The colour is distinctly deeper than that of the Terra Rossa Cabernet Sauvignon, and the fruit is decidedly more intense and focused, with tannins sitting alongside the black fruits as they power through the palate to the long, savoury/earthy finish. I have often wondered whether Bordeaux has taken exception to the name, but if they were to do so for this vintage, it might be out of concern. A great name for the Chinese market, too. Drink by: 2028. Score – 95. (winecompanion.com.au, June 18, 2021)
