Product Details
Piedra Seca is a selection of vineyards and barrels from the 160 hectares of cabernet sauvignon (plus 5% petit verdot and 3% cabernet franc this year in the blend) that Pérez Cruz has planted in the Huelquén area, at the foot of the first foothills of the Andes, in what is known as Alto Maipo. In a warm season like 2023, the fruits predominate over the herbal notes, and there are ripe and slightly sweet red fruits. The tannins are firm and muscular. One for aging or for grilled ribs. [Will evolve into mid-2030s.] Score – 93. (Patricio Tapia, guiadescorchados.cl, 2025)
