(Translated from the Italian) Intriguing and with a decidedly profound aroma, it alternates nuances of black plums, blackberries, ground cinnamon, dark chocolate, black cherries, red plums and blood orange juice. Full-bodied, with a smooth and robust taste, it shows tension and character, caressing in the gentle savour until the noble closure. Mainly from Serralunga (Ornato, Serra, Briccolina and Lirano) and Monforte (Mosconi, Ravera, Roncaglie). Better from 2025 [and has the potential to develop for another two decades]. Score – 96.
